White House: No More Officials On CNN

According to a report from Politico, the White House is temporarily banning spokespeople and surrogates from appearing on CNN shows after President Trump referred to the network as “fake news” during a recent press conference.

Despite the Obama administration’s stated animus towards Fox News, White House officials like Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and Senior Advisor David Axelrod appeared on Fox News Sunday in the first few weeks after President Obama’s 2009 inauguration.
